84 Hour Film Challenge

Twice per year, Skills21 from EdAdvance hosts a student film competition. Students from all around the state of Connecticut are challenged two write, direct, shoot, and edit three-minute films in only 48 hours. At the beginning of the challenge, Skills21 provides teams with criteria that must be met, ranging from the inclusion of a specific line in the script to a certain location that must be filmed at. This vigorous challenge forces students to flex their creative muscles and solve last-minute production issues on a tight time budget.
