Team Members

Alexander Reyna

Alex is one of our voice actors, with his most recent work being the voice of "the man" in our animated short "Winter Woes." He's also an excellent scriptwriter who has written for most of our 84 Hour Film Challenges as well as the Galapagos documentary.

Susie Okoli
Susie Okoli is one of the team producers. She's helped with many of our smaller projects, including the Tomas de Berlanga school documentary and our documentary on Colorism.

Kayla Langley
Kayla's most notable accomplishments have been what she's learned. She learned how to operate cameras, edit videos, and even assist in directing our major Black Male Educator documentary. Without her, our interviewees would not have felt nearly as comfortable talking about such controversial issues as Brown vs. Board of Education.

Cyril King
Cyril has already won an award for his LGBTQIA+ personal PSA for the Teens Dream Competition - and he's only a sophomore in high school! He's proven that he can produce high-quality work without any assistance, a skill that is very valuable in this industry.

Iesha Ariho
Iesha is one of the producers on our full-length Black Male Educator documentary. She's responsible for helping to storyboard that documentary, including the questions asked to the interviewees and the order of which subjects should be discussed in the film.

Noah Pacelli
Noah brings to the group two years of digital media experience, with a specialization in 3D modeling and animation. He's responsible for any 3D models you see in our Galapagos documentary. His proudest achievement is helping to produce a Farm to Table documentary that was selected as a nominee for a local film competition.

Michael Hollerbach
Like many of our members, Michael has submitted plenty of his independent short films and PSAs to competitions all around the country. In his two years as a digital media student, he's learned how to operate a camera, light a scene, and edit videos.

Paige Johnson
Paige is one of the producers for our Black Male Educators documentary. She's proud of everything she's learned this year in Digital Media class.

Ximena Beltran
Ximena is one of our editors, her most notable work being our Colorism documentary and our Tomas De Berlanga school documentary. She's also helped produce our Black Male Educator documentary and our Glocal video.

Rebecca Kalapala
Rebecca directed our Tomas de Berlanga school documentary. She's also helped to edit many of our other short films, ensuring that they maintain a consistent quality while still getting done on time.

Evan Thomas
Evan has made significant contributions to our largest films. He's responsible for many of the animations in our Black Male Educator documentary, and he single-handedly composed our Galapagos documentary (well, minus the voice-over). Our team would not be where it is today without Evan.

Alana Manning
Alana worked side-by-side with Kayla to direct and shoot the spoken word ending to our Black Male Educator documentary. In the process, she's learned how a film team operates and how full-length student documentaries are created.

Devon Coleman
Just a sophomore in high school, Devon is the newest intern to the GNETICS Film Group. He's been working closely with our team leaders to learn how to manage a film team and keep operations running smoothly. He loves web development.
